Responsibilities:
In this position you will lead the strategy of competitive pricing analysis and should be well versed in current trends in Databases and Business Intelligence. The role will be reporting directly into the Chief Merchandising Officer and will partner with Finance, Business Intelligence Reporting, and all of Merchandising including Merchandise Planning and Supply Chain.
Pricing Analyst

What You Do:
Evaluate and recommend strategies for pricing merchandise in store and online.
Provide extensive analytical support focused on the company’s pricing market competitiveness.
Identify and leverage average unit retail opportunities based on market conditions including initial pricing strategies, discounts, and clearance.
Recommend optimal product pricing strategies designed to increase sales and margin.
Initiate tests to analyze customer price elasticity.
