Senior Network Engineer / Architect

Overview:

Network Architect to be responsible for the architecture, design, planning, and implementation of a next generation network infrastructure. The architect will provide technical direction and leadership to the Network Operations and Data Center technical organizations and will report to the Director of IP Product Development and Engineering.

DUTIES:

Provide technical direction
Design and implement advanced network architectures
Write technical documentation, including architecture documents, implementation plans, runbooks, and diagrams
Work to reduce cost and drive efficiency in the network
Provide technical leadership to the Operations teams and colleagues
Provide technical leadership to customers and partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to speak publicly
Strong teamwork skills
Innovative and forward thinking
Service Provider experience preferred
BS or MS in CS or a related field; equivalent work experience also considered
CCIE or JNCIE preferred
Full time employment, eligible to work in the US
